Start Time: May 2018
Customer and brand: takewheels
Sharing electric bike: IU2L
Project area: United States + parts of Europe
We started the sharing electric vehicle project with takewheels in June 2018.
Takewheels focuses on software such as IOT, and we focus on the adaptability of the electric bike itself. In order to comply with local riding habits, we adjusted the maximum speed of the electric bike. At the same time, in order to reduce the operation and maintenance costs of the shared electric bike project, we have increased the battery capacity.
At the end of 2018, the project was officially mass-produced. Takewheels also completed the initial distribution in the US market.
In 2019, we produced more than 30,000 units of this model. Takwheels launched the European project at the same time that it completed the distribution in the United States.
In 2020, we have completed the production of European standard (E-mark) products, and together with Takewheels, we have developed a second-generation shared electric vehicle model based on the first-generation model.
Close cooperation in 2021~
Note: IU2L models are not for sale, and are exclusively for Takewheels.
